When I was thinking on this Illustration, I imagined a kind of a magic forest, packed with the most beautiful and colorful mushrooms I knew of.

After all, mushrooms may be more fascinating that animals and plants themselves, they are vital in the decomposition of matter, which opens the paths for new life, some of them are so interconnected that together create the biggest living entities in existence, covering kilometres of forest, some do zombiffy living creatures, they are a source of food, poison, and the right ones may just change your life for the better with a single trip.

The whole illustration was made by hand, and it took more than a month to make, full time, I hope you enjoy it. Watch out for the Eastern Egg than only lucky few will catch!

Fly Agaric (Amanita Muscaria) and Psilocybe Cubensis, of course.

Others are Blue Pixie's Parasol, Bleeding Tooth Fungus, Dryad’s Saddle, Bamboo Mushrooms, White Chicken Mushroom, Hygrocybes, Fairy Inkcaps, Orange Pore fungus, Turkey Tail , Wrinkled Peach Mushroom, Coral Fungus, Mauve Parachute, Shaggy Inky Cap, Bird’s Nest, Phellodon Sinclairii, Pholiota Flammans, Red Cage Fungus, Boletellus Russelli, Frost's Bolete, Hygrophorus Coccineus, Verdigris Agaric, Pecker Heads, Leucocoprinus Cretaceus, Spike of Dragon and many more! Some are plants and fruits.
